Randy & Tammy Bowlin

Randy basically grew up in the woods in the mountains of North Carolina. He spent many years working for his father, running equipment as well as being the head mechanic.

He studied welding at Forsyth Tech and went on from there to work for Duke energy in Rock Hill, SC for eight years.

After leaving that position, Randy came back to Wilkes to work for himself in the logging industry. He also married his high school sweetheart, Tammy.

In 1996, Randy and Tammy had the opportunity to buy into the Logger Shop. This allowed Randy to be home with his family on a more regular basis. He has also been able to help loggers find quality used equipment without having to pay the steep price for brand new.

Tammy has played a crucial role in keeping the shop (and Randy) in order. Without her, life in the store would be chaos. She has a sharp business sense and is great with customers.

Mike Goforth

Parts Manager

Mike has been with us for 15+ years. He keeps the parts counter and our customers going.

Kati Petrey

Marketing Director

Kati is the youngest daughter of Randy and Tammy. Born and raised in Wilkes County and around the logging industry, Kati has stepped into the role of marketing and advertising for the store. She graduated from Liberty University in 2016 with a degree in Fine Arts and Behavioral Psychology. She helps Tammy in the office, works at the parts counter, and manages all of the print, web, and social media marketing.

Orin Harless

Orin is Randy's extra set of hands in the garage. With knowledge of engines big and small, he helps keep our customers machines running. As a reliable and hardworking man, Orin is a valuable asset to our team.
